3. How Our Tools Work (Local Processing)
All PDF processing on BharatPDF happens entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript and WebAssembly libraries (PDF-Lib, PDF.js, SheetJS). This means:
- When you select a file, it is read by your browser’s File API into memory — it is never sent over the internet.
- All transformations (merging, splitting, compressing, converting, etc.) happen on your own device.
- The processed output file is generated in your browser’s memory and downloaded directly to your device.
- No document data leaves your computer, phone, or tablet at any point during the process.
Our web servers only deliver the website’s HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to your browser. They have no role in document processing.
4. Information We Do Collect
4.1 Web Server Logs
Like all websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard web server logs when you access our site. These logs may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you visit, and the time of access.
